We want you to know that we practice the highest standards of hand hygiene and equipment decontamination. Whether you are attending 10 Harley Street, The Broad Street Practice in Stamford or one of our clinics based at BMI The Duchy Hospital Harrogate, BMI Woodlands Hospital Darlington or BMI Sandringham Hospital Kings Lynn, you can be assured that all necessary precautions are being taken for patients and staff to minimise the risk of contracting coronavirus.

The importance of expert touch and being sensitive to your needs when providing skin camouflage and scar therapy goes without saying. What should not go unsaid is that you have the right to be treated by a healthcare professional who practices proper hand hygiene and that your treatment is provided in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. We will not compromise our standards.

Depending on the life experiences that have brought you to seek our help, we understand that you may well feel apprehensive of hospital or similar environments. That said, we think it is vitally important that, while we do not wish to be over clinical in our approach we will always ensure that we look after you in a clean, safe environment whilst adhering to our professional bodies best practice.

All Skin Camouflage Services consultations and treatments are provided in professional, friendly clinical locations. We currently consult at three BMI Hospitals, all of which are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and were awarded a rating of ‘Good’ in their most recent assessments. All areas of the hospitals are part of the quality and standards programme which includes regular audits of environmental cleanliness and hand washing efficacy. You will see our hygiene protocols and local hand washing practices throughout your skin camouflage and scar therapy treatments. The Bare Below the Elbow Policy is always strictly adhered to.

When you make an appointment for any of our skin camouflage services at any of our BMI Hospitals locations, 10 Harley Street, or at The Broad Street Practice you can be assured of first-class standards and a warm welcome from the Reception teams. If you have any concerns about your comfort and ability to manage the duration of your appointment you will be pleased to see that all the medical couches are hydraulic with supporting aids: cushions, pillows, rolls and wedges if required and plenty of space to be able to walk around if you feel the need to have a break. It is very important to us that your skin camouflage treatment and scar management services can be provided in comfort and at a pace you feel comfortable with.
